In the 56th minute of the match Trunchovitsa got a corner. Khardalii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivelin Shehtanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Nikovski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Ginyo Karemov 61 minutes into the match. Ikonom Tochev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Grigor Aldimirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ikonom Tochev in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigor Aldimirov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ginyo Karemov made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Igor Nikovski sent off a good shot on target. Gruyo Shipochki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Trunchovitsa defense, Ikonom Tochev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigor Aldimirov. The Trunchovitsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigor Aldimirov should have stopped the shot. The Khardalii manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Trunchovitsa to win.
