Glenn Crayon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glenn Crayon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Radomirov, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. ЦСКА-София's Tinko Belovezhdov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Kovachevski in the 27th minute of play. Tinko Belovezhdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Kempski in the 28th minute of play. Marko Púshev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Granato charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Granato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ЦСКА-София's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Antonio Kovachevski scored to the left of an out of position Tinko Belovezhdov, making the score, 1-1. Tinko Belovezhdov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Kovachevski's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Tinko Belovezhdov came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vresovo's Piotr Kempski. But to his dismay, Piotr Kempski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Granato to make the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, ЦСКА-София was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanislav Dzhudzhev to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Granato was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 67 played minutes ЦСКА-София got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Granato. Vladimir Novachev struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Glenn Crayon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ЦСКА-София. The audience was convinced that Yordan Muskurov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tinko Belovezhdov was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Tinko Belovezhdov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Kempski, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Piotr Kempski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tinko Belovezhdov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vladimir Novachev fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ЦСКА-София's protests and gave Vladimir Novachev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Piotr Kempski made a precise shot to the right of Tinko Belovezhdov. ЦСКА-София's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 92 minutes into the game, FC Vresovo's Yordan Muskurov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tinko Belovezhdov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Tinko Belovezhdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Púshev in the 96th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Yancho Prúvchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yordan Muskurov came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FC Vresovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yordan Muskurov couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Vresovo fans cheered their team off the field, for while ЦСКА-София had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
