In the 18th minute Mirolyub Kyurchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geno Toshev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Diyan Kerinski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geno Toshev. The goal made the score 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Zapalqnkovcite's Diyan Kerinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geno Toshev. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. The supporters of Zapalqnkovcite booed when Marchelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sava Saparev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzvetan Stanishev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geno Toshev. Marchelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aleko Yatanski charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 43rd match minute, Marchelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigor Rubiev to maneuver through the defense. When Lozan Kaleev fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marchelo's protests and gave Lozan Kaleev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Marchelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lozan Kaleev to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Tzvetan Stanishev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geno Toshev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anzhelo Glavanakov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vergil Itev was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Zapalqnkovcite's zone, Hristo Pironski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Serdev came out of the goal and Hristo Pironski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Serdev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anzhelo Glavanakov went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Marchelo booed when Zapalqnkovcite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antim Sergeev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo Serdev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristo Pironski in the 68th minute of the match. Boyan Savkov kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Vergil Itev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Zapalqnkovcite's Ivo Serdev got control of the ball when Vergil Itev tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Zapalqnkovcite's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Pironski came free, but Ivo Serdev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hristo Pironski took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Serdev. Ivo Serdev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Marchelo played a much better game than Zapalqnkovcite and deserved their victory. The Zapalqnkovcite players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
