Dospad's Atanas Buzin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Evrosi Karamanev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhelyazko Dramov was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The supporters of Dospad booed when Balej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geno Pindzhurov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Dospad's goal looked a bit too open when Dencho Dzhelepov came free, but Evrosi Zaimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chudomir Paspalev might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evrosi Zaimov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chudomir Paspalev ran back to his position shaking his head. Gospodin Ginev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zhelyazko Dramov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atanas Buzin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dospad's Adalbert palankov got a free kick in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Evrosi Zaimov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Atanas Buzin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Dospad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atanas Buzin couldn't finish the play. When Dospad's Atanas Buzin, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Dospad. In the 33rd minute, Yanek Mishtalov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chudomir Paspalev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balej's Zhelyazko Dramov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atanas Buzin in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Chudomir Paspalev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evrosi Zaimov. Dospad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chudomir Paspalev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Atanas Buzin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhelyazko Dramov having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dencho Dzhelepov to make the kick off. Zhelyazko Dramov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atanas Buzin in the 54th minute of play. If Dencho Dzhelepov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Samuil Dzhedzhev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Atanas Buzin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dencho Dzhelepov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Evrosi Zaimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Chudomir Paspalev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balej's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Atanas Buzin 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Evrosi Karamanev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhelyazko Dramov having to interfere. Evrosi Karamanev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhelyazko Dramov having to make a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
