Milko Yarúkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lachezar Domovchiyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lachezar Domovchiyski might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Milko Yarúkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lachezar Domovchiyski ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervasio Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tzanyo Laklov in the 44th minute. Tzanyo Laklovs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Gervasio Martinez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislav Kasabov to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Trifon Sashov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ГФ ВИБОРГ's zone, Stanislav Kasabov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Kasabov in the 63rd minute of play. FC Ustrem's Milko Yarúkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ustrem from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes FC Ustrem got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Chobanov.
