Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tervel's Detelin Kúrdzhaliev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Valtchidarma's Zheko Kalinchekov got control of the ball when Tenyo Dyulgerov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zheko Kalinchekov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tenyo Dyulgerov in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tervel's Detelin Kúrdzhaliev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zheko Kalinchekov. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Zheko Kalinchekov made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tenyo Dyulgerov sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Gencho Krústanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofan Srebrev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Traycho Gyoshev came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Valtchidarma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traycho Gyoshev couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Tervel's goal looked a bit too open when Paun Karamanev came free, but Teofan Srebrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirolyub Gyorev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Zheko Kalinchekov made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Tenyo Dyulgerov could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Zheko Kalinchekov however easily saved by the left post. Metodi Niklenov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Traycho Gyoshev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valtchidarma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Detelin Kúrdzhaliev in the 33rd minute of play forced Valtchidarma's goalkeeper Zheko Kalinchekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofan Srebrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vancho Barbutski in the 35th minute of play. If Vancho Barbutski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stoyan Somlev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Zheko Kalinchekov made a huge save. A collision led to Tervel getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ivan Vezirski hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Traycho Gyoshev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofan Srebrev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Valtchidarma got a freekick which was hit by Gencho Krústanov. Tenyo Dyulgerov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Zheko Kalinchekov made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Traycho Gyoshev was the one to do the kick off. Valtchidarma's Zheko Kalinchekov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirolyub Gyorev in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Detelin Kúrdzhaliev notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Valtchidarma's Zheko Kalinchekov. Zheko Kalinchekov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute of the match Gencho Krústanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofan Srebrev skillfully saved the ball. Zheko Kalinchekov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirolyub Gyorev in the 65th minute of play. Traycho Gyoshev in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teofan Srebrev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Tervel's Teofan Srebrev got control of the ball when Paun Karamanev tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Traycho Gyoshev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valtchidarma's supporters rose to their feet, but Traycho Gyoshev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofan Srebrev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, Tervel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metodi Niklenov to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Stoycho Ronkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valtchidarma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tervel the free kick. After 82 played minutes Valtchidarma got a freekick which was hit by Stoycho Ronkov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tenyo Dyulgerov in the 84th minute of play forced Valtchidarma's goalkeeper Zheko Kalinchekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zheko Kalinchekov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Detelin Kúrdzhaliev in the 88th minute of the match. Ivan Vezirski's late challenge caught a Valtchidarma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Vezirski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Ivan Vezirski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tervel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valtchidarma had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
