Dimcho Pondev made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Mirolyub Zhúltov sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Dimcho Pondev managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when CSKA Svetulka's Lulcho Balinski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dimcho Pondev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mirolyub Zhúltov in the 9th minute. The supporters of Сините от София booed when CSKA Svetulka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexi Bonov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petyo Banov struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Radostin Dundarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Сините от София. 14 minutes into the match, Сините от София's goalkeeper Dimcho Pondev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lulcho Balinski. The supporters of CSKA Svetulka booed when Сините от София was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galabin Pushkarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Yanislav Kanev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimcho Pondev skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Сините от София's Petyo Banov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radostin Dundarov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With his leg Dimcho Pondev managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when CSKA Svetulka's Lulcho Balinski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexi Bonov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Сините от София's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Samuil Chubriev scored to the left of an out of position Dimcho Pondev, making the score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zheko Baltiyski in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radostin Dundarov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radostin Dundarov came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Сините от София's Petyo Banov. But to his dismay, Petyo Banov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dimcho Pondev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuil Chubriev in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Сините от София were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuil Chubriev was the one to do the kick off. If Petyo Banov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zheko Baltiyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Radostin Dundarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, CSKA Svetulka's Samuil Chubriev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimcho Pondev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Сините от София's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yanislav Kanev was slow to take the kick. During this time CSKA Svetulka's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Yanislav Kanev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimcho Pondev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Сините от София getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Petyo Banov hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lulcho Balinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Сините от София's Dimcho Pondev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dimcho Pondev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuil Chubriev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, CSKA Svetulka's Mirolyub Zhúltov made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimcho Pondev was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuil Chubriev in the 76th minute of play forced Сините от София's goalkeeper Dimcho Pondev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Samuil Chubriev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimcho Pondev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lulcho Balinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Lulcho Balinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimcho Pondev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Dimcho Pondev came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA Svetulka's Kuzman Shotorov. But to his dismay, Kuzman Shotorov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Dimcho Pondev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuil Chubriev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tencho Pedev fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Сините от София's protests and gave Tencho Pedev a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Сините от София got a freekick which was hit by Tencho Pedev.
