Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stoyko Redzhov started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Viktor Vekilski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radan Chernokozhev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Bakev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Vekilski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radan Chernokozhev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Viktor Bakev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Radan Chernokozhev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Velichko Bankovski fired a really elegant long shot, but Angel Bozhinov threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 21st match minute, FC Dobrich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Ashikov to maneuver through the defense. Oleg Dzhambov struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Angel Bozhinov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Murtazovska. 25 minutes into the match, CSKA Murtazovska's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Vekilski came free, but Radan Chernokozhev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evtim Choparinov charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evtim Choparinov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Dobrich's Evtim Choparinov got a free kick in the 27th minute. Stoyko Redzhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Bozhinov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoyko Redzhov in the 40th minute of play forced FC Dobrich's goalkeeper Angel Bozhinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Bakev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Radan Chernokozhev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Dobrich's Angel Bozhinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoyko Redzhov in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the game, Stancho Kartunov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dobrich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Murtazovska the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Stancho Kartunov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Dobrich! 60 minutes into the game, Viktor Vekilski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radan Chernokozhev. Viktor Vekilski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Oleg Dzhambov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Dobrich's Viktor Vekilski got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes CSKA Murtazovska got a freekick which was hit by Evlogi Kechev. In the 98th minute Oleg Dzhambov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Bozhinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
