Adam Bezhanski started the match with the kick off. FC Droplja were furious when Svetlozar Oreshkov was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dobromir Vúlevski hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Adam Bezhanski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Yani Kerezov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Bezhanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Droplja's goalkeeper Yani Kerezov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Danail Maznikov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yani Kerezov, 2-0. Adam Bezhanski might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yani Kerezov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Bezhanski ran back to his position shaking his head. Svetlin Penevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Viden Nunev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Droplja booed when Gruncharovd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitomir Hadzhitonev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Sasho Ahtardzhiev sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gruncharovd's Viden Nunev didn't even have to move. Yani Kerezov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Bezhanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Svetlin Penevski took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viden Nunev. Viden Nunev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svetlin Penevski to make the kick off. Lyubomir Radomirski charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lyubomir Radomirski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, FC Droplja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyubomir Radomirski to maneuver through the defense. Yani Kerezov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Bezhanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acho Kertin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Yani Kerezov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acho Kertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Acho Kertin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yani Kerezov was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Yani Kerezov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Bezhanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Svetlin Bitrakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gruncharovd's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetlin Bitrakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yani Kerezov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Bezhanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acho Kertin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Yani Kerezov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gruncharovd. Gruncharovd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
