Milyo Kodrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Dúrvenyashki having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Anastschik's zone, Milyo Kodrov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Dúrvenyashki came out of the goal and Milyo Kodrov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valkan Karadimchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Dúrvenyashki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetlin Penevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Valentin Dúrvenyashki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milyo Kodrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dobromir Vúlevski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes FC Droplja got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Vúlevski. Yani Kerezov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lozan Dinkov in the 30th minute of the match. Svetlin Penevski struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Valentin Dúrvenyashki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Droplja. FC Anastschik's Valentin Dúrvenyashki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetlin Penevski in the 39th minute of play. In the 48th minute Lozan Dinkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yani Kerezov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lozan Dinkov to make the kick off.
