Dimo Yorgov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Milakiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to ANVERS FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Donyo Shishkov hit a great ball. Angel Súrmadzhiev made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Blagoy Karaslavov sent off a good shot on target. ANVERS FC's Dimo Yorgov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Milakiev in the 15th minute of play. Angel Súrmadzhiev was a little too slow when Plamen Kiselichki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Gergin Manov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimo Yorgov. ANVERS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gergin Manov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dimo Yorgov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergin Manov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Angel Súrmadzhiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vancho Dishliyski in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of ANVERS FC booed when Dripka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Panov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Súrmadzhiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Plamen Kiselichki's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Vancho Dishliyski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Dripka got a freekick which was hit by Vergil Pometkov. Vladko Kúrshev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Súrmadzhiev having to interfere. After 44 played minutes, Dripka's Gergin Maslarov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimo Yorgov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dripka reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Vladko Kúrshev managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANVERS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladko Kúrshev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Súrmadzhiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tihomir Dipchev was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Plamen Kiselichki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Súrmadzhiev was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Vladko Kúrshev came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the ANVERS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladko Kúrshev couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Plamen Kiselichki made a precise shot to the right of Angel Súrmadzhiev. Dripka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Dimo Yorgov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 75 minutes into the match, ANVERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trifon Panov came free, but Dimo Yorgov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ANVERS FC's Donyo Shishkov got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of ANVERS FC booed when Dripka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergin Manov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plamen Kiselichki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
