Severin Kotzovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spas Hubanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bozhil Mudrov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donyo Dobrilov in the 31st minute of play. If Spas Hubanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes FC Chukurite got a freekick which was hit by Danail Kryakov.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donyo Dobrilov was the one to do the kick off. Severin Kotzovski was a little too slow when Spas Hubanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Spas Hubanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Severin Kotzovski made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Spas Hubanov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severin Kotzovski, 1-4. In the 80th minute, Spas Hubanov made a precise shot to the right of Severin Kotzovski.
