In the 19th minute, Gavril Morfov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Tzanyo Sakarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trifon Karagyozov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin FC's Trifon Karagyozov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzanyo Sakarski in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Assen booed when Marin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an all-out effort, Assen's Trifon Karagyozov threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tzanyo Sakarski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74thth minute of the game Tzanyo Sakarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marin FC's Trifon Karagyozov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tzanyo Sakarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trifon Karagyozov having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Assen's Tzanyo Sakarski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trifon Karagyozov. That made the score 0-3 after 81 minutes of play. Gavril Morfov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trifon Karagyozov having to interfere. Gavril Morfov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Trifon Karagyozov managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Assen's Gavril Morfov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 97 minutes, Tzanyo Sakarski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Assen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzanyo Sakarski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavril Morfov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trifon Karagyozov having to interfere. When the match was over Assen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marin FC throughout the match.
