The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Ботев Враца was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokol Pavlov to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Ancho Koshtrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pencho Elkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ботев Враца's goalkeeper Pencho Elkin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Lyudmil Fachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pencho Elkin was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Ancho Koshtrov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ancho Koshtrov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 25th minute, Lyudmil Fachev made a precise shot to the right of Pencho Elkin. Ботев Враца's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Lyubcho Drashkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Chachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Ботев Враца's goalkeeper Pencho Elkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lyudmil Fachev. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bone Pandev got free with Pencho Elkin in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Borowsko's Chavdar Chiplakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pencho Elkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ботев Враца's goalkeeper Pencho Elkin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pencho Elkin was a little too slow when Sasho Rokanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Bone Pandev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ancho Koshtrov was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ancho Koshtrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pencho Elkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Borowsko's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Sokol Pavlov scored to the left of an out of position Lyubcho Drashkov, making the score, 4-1. Ancho Koshtrov took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pencho Elkin. Pencho Elkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Pencho Elkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ancho Koshtrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Borowsko's Bone Pandev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pencho Elkin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After a rather tough play, Borowsko's Ancho Koshtrov got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ancho Koshtrov scored 7-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pencho Elkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pencho Elkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parvan Rumenin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danail Lelekov in the 82nd minute of play forced Ботев Враца's goalkeeper Pencho Elkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pencho Elkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ancho Koshtrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Chavdar Chiplakov made a precise shot to the right of Pencho Elkin. Ботев Враца's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danail Lelekov couldn't finish the play. Ancho Koshtrov scored 9-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pencho Elkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Borowsko were the better team. Borowsko's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
