If Alexey Lashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anani Dragunchev came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by OFK Spartak Pleven's Matey Mitanov. But to his dismay, Matey Mitanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Matey Mitanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexey Lashkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, FC Bankowzi's goalkeeper Anani Dragunchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matey Mitanov. If Vancho Kavrúkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, FC Bankowzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vancho Kavrúkov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vancho Kavrúkov in the 34th minute of play forced OFK Spartak Pleven's goalkeeper Boycho Koynarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Anani Kazashki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexey Lashkov to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bankowzi's zone, Haralampi Topchiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anani Dragunchev came out of the goal and Haralampi Topchiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexey Lashkov in the 57th minute of play forced FC Bankowzi's goalkeeper Anani Dragunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Alexey Lashkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anani Dragunchev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. FC Bankowzi's Anani Dragunchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexey Lashkov in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, one of FC Bankowzi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Bankowzi. The referee gave OFK Spartak Pleven a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genadi Kalushkov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Bankowzi's Anani Dragunchev. 3-0. Anani Kazashki's late challenge caught a OFK Spartak Pleven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anani Kazashki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Anani Kazashki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anani Dragunchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexey Lashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Anani Kazashki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Bankowzi's Anani Kazashki got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Matey Mitanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Anani Dragunchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matey Mitanov scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anani Dragunchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexey Lashkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anani Dragunchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OFK Spartak Pleven fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Bankowzi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
