The coaching staff of Abritus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donyo Yurukov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Abritus getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Donyo Yurukov hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Tihomir Prahov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genko Mandzhukov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nenko Avgustinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nenko Avgustinov came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Abritus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nenko Avgustinov couldn't finish the play. Plamen Pisarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petyo Zhivankin in the 28th minute of the match. When Abritus's Nenko Avgustinov in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 57th minute of the match Stoyo Shanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svetoslav Aprilov skillfully saved the ball. Nenko Avgustinov struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Plamen Pisarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abritus. Ivelin Vanov was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match was over Abritus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Etyr Veliko Tyrnovo throughout the match.
