Spectators: 6200 (Terracing: 4320, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) 11 minutes into the match, Botrov's goal looked a bit too open when Nedko Dzhangozov came free, but Evstati Mentov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atanas Gushterski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 15th playminute. Botrov's Atanas Gushterski came free and shot a quick shot against goal 18 minutes in the game, fortunately Marko Tarashoev had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Evstati Mentov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velcho Kozev, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Atanas Gushterski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marko Tarashoev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Evstati Mentov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedko Dzhangozov's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Botrov's Evstati Mentov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedko Dzhangozov in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedko Dzhangozov in the 31st minute of play forced Botrov's goalkeeper Evstati Mentov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velcho Kozev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kliment Alashki charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kliment Alashki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes NDK got a freekick which was hit by Kliment Alashki. Velcho Kozev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evstati Mentov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Velcho Kozev managed to get in a good position for a shot. NDK's supporters rose to their feet, but Velcho Kozev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evstati Mentov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radul Boyadzhiev made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lulcho Krushovenski in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evstati Mentov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 55 minutes, Velcho Kozev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NDK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Velcho Kozev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Velcho Kozev came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the NDK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velcho Kozev couldn't finish the play. The supporters of NDK booed when Botrov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atanas Gushterski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evstati Mentov came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by NDK's Velcho Kozev. But to his dismay, Velcho Kozev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Velcho Kozev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lulcho Krushovenski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Evstati Mentov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marko Tarashoev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radul Boyadzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stavri Belokonski during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Bilyan Tamburdzhiyski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and NDK's Marko Tarashoev didn't even have to move.
