Valeri Kerekov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ginyo Oronov. Potournak's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 13 played minutes Metudova got a freekick which was hit by Traycho Papanchev. After having played for 15 minutes, Maksim Linev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potournak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksim Linev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zahari Pedev kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Potournak getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zahari Pedev hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Metudova's zone, Maksim Linev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Alexandriyski came out of the goal and Maksim Linev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Metudova's Adam Alexandriyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksim Linev in the 24th minute of play. Stanoy Protogerov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ginyo Oronov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karamfil Chandrev in the 35th minute of play forced Potournak's goalkeeper Ginyo Oronov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Delcho Prezhdarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanoy Protogerov got free with Ginyo Oronov in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Metudova's goalkeeper Adam Alexandriyski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maksim Linev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Alexandriyski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksim Linev in the 72nd minute of play forced Metudova's goalkeeper Adam Alexandriyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ginyo Oronov was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Karamfil Chandrev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karamfil Chandrev really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Adam Alexandriyski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maksim Linev went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Metudova's Adam Alexandriyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyo Pipkov in the 89th minute of play. Potournak were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Metudova to leave the ground with a draw.
