But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Paraense couldn't finish the play. Orlando Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vergil Kúrchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, KoshukavakSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamen Kachulev to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, KoshukavakSpor's Sokol Nikodimov got a free kick in the 26th minute. Strahil Georgiev hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Lachezar Todorov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilko Chorbov in the 34th minute. If Ilko Chorbov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half KoshukavakSpor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Paraense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nacho Tonin came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the SUNDERLAND A.F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nacho Tonin couldn't finish the play. Sören Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergil Kúrchev having to interfere. Orlando Paraense struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Vergil Kúrchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KoshukavakSpor. With splendid footwork Orlando Paraense arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 82nd minute. Orlando Paraense in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vergil Kúrchev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. KoshukavakSpor played a much better game than SUNDERLAND A.F.C and deserved their victory. The SUNDERLAND A.F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
