Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rafail Raynov made the kick off which started today's match. Petar Monev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gencho Cholchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Trakia Cartel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naum Konov to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deyan Mladzhov in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gencho Cholchev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, FC Akhtebol's goal looked a bit too open when Deyan Mladzhov came free, but Gencho Cholchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Deyan Mladzhov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gencho Cholchev. FC Akhtebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deyan Mladzhov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Deyan Mladzhov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petar Monev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gencho Cholchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petar Monev's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Zlatko Radoychev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Akhtebol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatko Radoychev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Zlatko Radoychev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Akhtebol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trakia Cartel the free kick. In the 34th match minute, FC Akhtebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoakim Tochkov to maneuver through the defense. FC Akhtebol's Gencho Cholchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deyan Mladzhov in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trakia Cartel's Atanas Vinchev got a free kick in the 37th minute. Boris Murdzhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafail Raynov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Zlatko Radoychev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gencho Cholchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deyan Mladzhov, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute, Lyudmil Tinev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Trakia Cartel's zone, Zlatko Radoychev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Murdzhev came out of the goal and Zlatko Radoychev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Trakia Cartel getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Pavlin Priturgov hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes, FC Akhtebol's Konstantin Kacharov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boris Murdzhev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Akhtebol reached it. Boris Murdzhev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Raynov in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Trakia Cartel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naum Konov to maneuver through the defense. Petar Monev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencho Cholchev having to interfere. Petar Monev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Deyan Mladzhov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencho Cholchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
