The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Manol Alexiev notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Ptichevo's Zheko Bitrakov. Zheko Bitrakov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Manol Alexiev came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Stanets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manol Alexiev couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manol Alexiev made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Vergil Simonski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zheko Bitrakov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Damyan Hodzhev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stanets's supporters rose to their feet, but Damyan Hodzhev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
