Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Momchil Modrev started the match with the kick off. Vidyo Gadzhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Momchil Modrev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's goal looked a bit too open when Momchil Modrev came free, but Vidyo Gadzhev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuil Gendov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vidyo Gadzhev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's Vidyo Gadzhev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksim Dolev in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Momchil Modrev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vidyo Gadzhev. Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Momchil Modrev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, EW®StReLa's Lulcho Randev got a free kick in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's goal looked a bit too open when Momchil Modrev came free, but Vidyo Gadzhev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Momchil Modrev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidyo Gadzhev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Momchil Modrev struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Vidyo Gadzhev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EW®StReLa. Momchil Modrev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naycho Alexov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bratan Marangozov during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of EW®StReLa booed when Lokomotiv Stara Zagora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bratan Marangozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidyo Gadzhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuil Gendov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidyo Gadzhev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Momchil Modrev in the 42nd minute of the match. If Momchil Modrev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half EW®StReLa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naycho Alexov was the one to do the kick off. Stoyan Vretenarov charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stoyan Vretenarov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Lulcho Randev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Spiridon Kitev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Momchil Modrev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lulcho Randev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Momchil Modrev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EW®StReLa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Momchil Modrev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Samuil Gendov managed to get in a good position for a shot. EW®StReLa's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuil Gendov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vidyo Gadzhev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Naycho Alexov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, Momchil Modrev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EW®StReLa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Momchil Modrev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes of play EW®StReLa's Lulcho Randev was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Stara Zagora's goalkeeper Vidyo Gadzhev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuil Gendov. Zahari Milotinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuil Gendov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lokomotiv Stara Zagora fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EW®StReLa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
