With an all-out effort, Gerelve's Denimir Abrashev threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Strahil Lalovski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 5th minute, Strahil Lalovski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Denimir Abrashev, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Gerelve's zone, Yanko Brúmchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evtim Kashukeev came out of the goal and Yanko Brúmchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stoyan Tzutzumanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anzhelo Brezin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Evtim Kashukeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yanko Brúmchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Stoyan Tzutzumanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lopusna's supporters rose to their feet, but Stoyan Tzutzumanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evtim Kashukeev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gerelve getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yanko Marchovski hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Gerelve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Momchil Tinkov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lopusna booed when Gerelve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evgeni Kukov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yanko Brúmchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evtim Kashukeev having to interfere. Gerelve's Evtim Kashukeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoyan Tzutzumanov in the 37th minute of play. Teodosi Salamanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Anzhelo Brezin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lopusna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gerelve the free kick. A collision led to Lopusna getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anzhelo Brezin hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Lopusna got a freekick which was hit by Milko Mitrov. With a little luck, Lopusna's Denimir Abrashev got control of the ball when Teodosi Salamanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Denimir Abrashev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Strahil Lalovski went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Strahil Lalovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teodosi Salamanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosi Salamanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denimir Abrashev having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lopusna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gerelve.
