Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) Radul Margitov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Emiliyan Milenkov came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Saraniowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliyan Milenkov couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes of play, FC Saraniowo's Stanko Kapurdov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simeon Gornenski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radul Margitov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Stoyadin Klyashev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, FC Saraniowo's Stanko Kapurdov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simeon Gornenski. Simeon Gornenski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Stanko Kapurdov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Saraniowo's Stoyadin Klyashev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radul Margitov in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanko Kapurdov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Saraniowo's Stefan Bozhov got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Ботев Пловдив were awarded a corner. Delyan Belichev went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Saraniowo's Stoyadin Klyashev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saraniowo from getting a goal against them. Kliment Bachorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radul Margitov in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Saraniowo's goalkeeper Stoyadin Klyashev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanko Kapurdov struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Simeon Gornenski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Saraniowo. The supporters of FC Saraniowo booed when Ботев Пловдив was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiril Angelakiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliyan Milenkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simeon Gornenski having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Emiliyan Milenkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saraniowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliyan Milenkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Velcho Pogonchev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ботев Пловдив's supporters rose to their feet, but Velcho Pogonchev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stoyadin Klyashev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Emiliyan Milenkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simeon Gornenski. Ботев Пловдив's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliyan Milenkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Stanko Kapurdov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simeon Gornenski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Saraniowo had won after a very even match.
