In the 7th minute Volodya Margin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evtim Kashukeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Teodosi Salamanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Asen Dakelov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iliya Hazúrbasanov hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to CSKA Schtipsko getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Peyo Dragulev hit a great ball. Gerelve's Teodosi Salamanov got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tencho Zografov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Evtim Kashukeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Teodosi Salamanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerelve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosi Salamanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Strahil Lalovski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Evtim Kashukeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volodya Margin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Kiril Simeonovski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Volodya Margin made the kick off in the second half. Strahil Lalovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. CSKA Schtipsko's Tencho Zografov got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gerelve getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gercho Karlov hit a great ball. Gerelve's Evtim Kashukeev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gerelve from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gerelve's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vanyo Lazhov was slow to take the kick. During this time CSKA Schtipsko's players had a chance to rest. CSKA Schtipsko's Vanyo Lazhov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evtim Kashukeev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dobrin Kalein struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Evtim Kashukeev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Schtipsko. In the 90th minute of the match Yanek Gúnev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asen Dakelov skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Gerelve's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Dragulev came free, but Evtim Kashukeev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSKA Schtipsko's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
