Dancho Kalenderov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Oleg Fúrkov made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, CSKA Aglen's goal looked a bit too open when Tinko Kachaunov came free, but Arso Krantov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Dunav Ruse's Oleg Fúrkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivaylo Tilkov in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, FC Dunav Ruse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Trenev to maneuver through the defense. Tinko Kachaunov struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Arso Krantov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dunav Ruse. Ivaylo Tilkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Fúrkov having to interfere. When Galin Mushanov fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dunav Ruse's protests and gave Galin Mushanov a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivaylo Tilkov in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Dunav Ruse's goalkeeper Oleg Fúrkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galin Mushanov hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Ivaylo Tilkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Aglen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivaylo Tilkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, FC Dunav Ruse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Trenev to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Raycho Kotov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dunav Ruse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute, Tinko Kachaunov made a precise shot to the right of Arso Krantov. CSKA Aglen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Raycho Kotov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Tinko Kachaunov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Ivaylo Tilkov took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Oleg Fúrkov to make any attempt to save it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivaylo Tilkov to make the kick off. Oleg Fúrkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dancho Kalenderov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 60 minutes of play, CSKA Aglen's Dancho Kalenderov made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oleg Fúrkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dancho Kalenderov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arso Krantov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raycho Kotov in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Dancho Kalenderov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Fúrkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tinko Kachaunov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dunav Ruse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Dido Filyov struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Oleg Fúrkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Aglen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zahari Belivanov during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zahari Belivanov hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dunav Ruse's zone, Dancho Kalenderov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Fúrkov came out of the goal and Dancho Kalenderov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tinko Kachaunov came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arso Krantov could save by the left post. If Tinko Kachaunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galin Mushanov was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, FC Dunav Ruse's Galin Mushanov got a free kick in the 98th minute. The CSKA Aglen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Dunav Ruse's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Dunav Ruse.
