The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenney Marant got free with Dancho Stanchev in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pantaley Fasulkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paun Manolkov in the 83rd minute of the match. Nikolay Gaydadzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dancho Stanchev having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paun Manolkov during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
