The audience was convinced that Chudomir Kertin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vangel Harabaliev was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Delcho Sharkov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. FC Tornado's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Delcho Sharkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Марица's Vangel Harabaliev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Марица from getting a goal against them. FC Tornado's Goran Maystorov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veselin Kúrshovski in the 25th minute of play. Botyo Hantov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vangel Harabaliev having to interfere. The nice shot from Botyo Hantov in the 30thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Vangel Harabaliev had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Goran Maystorov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Марица was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Presiyan Yachkov to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Chudomir Kertin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Марица's Vangel Harabaliev. After some careless play in the Марица defense, Botyo Hantov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vangel Harabaliev. The Марица fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vangel Harabaliev should have stopped the shot. Angel Hadzhililov kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Chudomir Kertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chudomir Kertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Vangel Harabaliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
