The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Borovo getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Orlin Paspalev hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Zhecho Diev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yordanov Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhecho Diev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Birazov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhecho Diev might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Birazov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhecho Diev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10thth minute of the game Mito Krústev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borovo's Yuri Birazov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trendafil Dachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Vúndev having to interfere. Andrey Vúndev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trendafil Dachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mito Krústev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yuri Birazov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Zhecho Diev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Birazov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mito Krústev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhecho Diev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Borovo's goal looked a bit too open when Yoto Geraskov came free, but Yuri Birazov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Zhecho Diev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yordanov Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhecho Diev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Birazov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mito Krústev's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Yordanov Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Trendafil Dachev fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the last second Andrey Vúndev throw himself and got hold of the ball when Trendafil Dachev in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Rangel Dudumov fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borovo's protests and gave Rangel Dudumov a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Borovo! The referee gave Yordanov Team a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Túnkov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borovo's Yuri Birazov. 0-2. In the 46thth minute of the game Mito Krústev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borovo's Yuri Birazov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trendafil Dachev was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zhecho Diev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yordanov Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhecho Diev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Birazov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borovo's goalkeeper Yuri Birazov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Yoto Geraskov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yuri Birazov. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Yuri Birazov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoto Geraskov in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Zhecho Diev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yordanov Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of Borovo booed when Yordanov Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Túnkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Yordanov Team got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Túnkov. Yuri Birazov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mito Krústev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borovo's goalkeeper Yuri Birazov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Yordanov Team got a freekick which was hit by Krum Pastuhov. 87 minutes into the game, Yoto Geraskov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yuri Birazov. Yoto Geraskov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Zhecho Diev might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Birazov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhecho Diev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Zhecho Diev fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuri Birazov, passed just outside the right post. When the match was over Yordanov Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borovo throughout the match.
