Krasimir Stolarov succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Krasimir Stolarov sped through FC PSVarna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yoakim Michev. If Velizar Chervenyakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Velizar Chervenyakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Pudrija's supporters rose to their feet, but Velizar Chervenyakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yoakim Michev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuil Dobrovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Baykov having to interfere. When Vihren Vamporov fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC PSVarna's protests and gave Vihren Vamporov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CSKA Pudrija getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Velizar Chervenyakov hit a great ball. Samuil Dobrovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Baykov having to interfere. If Manol Gluhchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manol Gluhchev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yoakim Michev having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manol Gluhchev made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Velizar Chervenyakov got free with Yoakim Michev in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Velizar Chervenyakov struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Yoakim Michev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Pudrija. 56 minutes into the match, CSKA Pudrija's Ilcho Spahiyski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yoakim Michev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Orlin Vatrachki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlado Baykov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Velizar Chervenyakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Velichko Berov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iskren Manolkov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Yoakim Michev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manol Gluhchev's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Orlin Vatrachki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PSVarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, CSKA Pudrija's Velizar Chervenyakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yoakim Michev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manol Gluhchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manol Gluhchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Yoakim Michev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuil Dobrovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlin Vatrachki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Baykov having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, FC PSVarna's Orlin Vatrachki made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlado Baykov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vlado Baykov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlin Vatrachki, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Samuil Dobrovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
