In the 14th minute Momchil Kalaykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomislav Nedelchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Slaveyko Kenarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slaveyko Kenarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Krasimir Kyurkchiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simo Vezenkov struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Krasimir Kyurkchiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Levski Sofiq. FC Levski Sofiq's Violet Chukanov was substituted for Krastyo Teoharov. FC Levski Sofiq's Slaveyko Kenarov got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in VN Asenovec's zone, Viden Sarafov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krasimir Kyurkchiev came out of the goal and Viden Sarafov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of VN Asenovec echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Levski Sofiq had held the ball for most of the match.
