Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Spas Kalúpchiev started the match with the kick off. Spas Kalúpchiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krasimir Kyurkchiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slaveyko Kenarov in the 5th minute of play forced VN Asenovec's goalkeeper Krasimir Kyurkchiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, FC Levski Sofiq's Spas Kalúpchiev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krasimir Kyurkchiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th match minute, VN Asenovec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozhin Madzhov to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Simo Vezenkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krasimir Kyurkchiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, FC Levski Sofiq's Slaveyko Kenarov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krasimir Kyurkchiev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 played minutes VN Asenovec got a freekick which was hit by Svetlin Tuechki. Tomislav Nedelchev made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dinko Garvalov sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, FC Levski Sofiq's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhin Madzhov came free, but Tomislav Nedelchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomislav Nedelchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Momchil Kalaykov in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Bozhin Madzhov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomislav Nedelchev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Slaveyko Kenarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Levski Sofiq's Simo Vezenkov got a free kick in the 39th minute. VN Asenovec's Krasimir Kyurkchiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slaveyko Kenarov in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Momchil Kalaykov made the kick off in the second half. Spas Kalúpchiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krasimir Kyurkchiev having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Spas Kalúpchiev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Krasimir Kyurkchiev, 0-3. If Spas Kalúpchiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slaveyko Kenarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Slaveyko Kenarov came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Levski Sofiq fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slaveyko Kenarov couldn't finish the play. FC Levski Sofiq made a substitution. Violet Chukanov replaced Krastyo Teoharov. Slavcho Genchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krasimir Kyurkchiev having to interfere. After 80 played minutes VN Asenovec got a freekick which was hit by Bozhin Madzhov. After 86 minutes, Viden Sarafov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Levski Sofiq and the VN Asenovec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for VN Asenovec. Stanislav Senyov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomislav Nedelchev. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svetlan Truhchev got free with Krasimir Kyurkchiev in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Ivo Tingarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomislav Nedelchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Levski Sofiq's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
