Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Momchil Kalaykov started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN Asenovec's goalkeeper Krasimir Kyurkchiev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mikhailovtsi's Kamen Deynov got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valcho Brúmchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krasimir Kyurkchiev having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Valcho Brúmchev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Krasimir Kyurkchiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valcho Brúmchevs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Krasimir Kyurkchiev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute, Ivo Tingarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamen Deynov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Krasimir Kyurkchiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamen Deynov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krasimir Kyurkchiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Valcho Brúmchev came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Mikhailovtsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valcho Brúmchev couldn't finish the play. Valcho Brúmchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krasimir Kyurkchiev having to interfere. Mikhailovtsi's Igor Lukarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Garvalov in the 44th minute of play. Mikhailovtsi's Valcho Brúmchev got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kamen Deynov made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Mikhailovtsi's Delcho Filchev got a free kick in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Dinko Garvalov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mikhailovtsi's Igor Lukarski. Igor Lukarski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to VN Asenovec getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bozhin Madzhov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valcho Brúmchev in the 76th minute of play forced VN Asenovec's goalkeeper Krasimir Kyurkchiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinko Garvalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Lukarski having to interfere. Kamen Deynov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krasimir Kyurkchiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valcho Brúmchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mikhailovtsi players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
