In the 6th minute of the match Toptschiisko got a corner. Softite's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Branislav Baltov ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Gospodin Malakov at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Softite. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Denislav Mingolov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Softite's Vencho Marvakov. Vencho Marvakov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gencho Patrashkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svetlan Semenov having to make a save. Alek Babulkov charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gencho Patrashkov got free with Svetlan Semenov in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Softite's zone, Denislav Mingolov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencho Marvakov came out of the goal and Denislav Mingolov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Milyo Konovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svetlan Semenov. Toptschiisko's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milyo Konovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Svilen Benatov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Svetlan Semenov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gencho Patrashkov in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Nikolay Vatzev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gencho Patrashkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Svetlan Semenov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Softite's Gencho Patrashkov made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svetlan Semenov was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gencho Patrashkov came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Softite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencho Patrashkov couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Toptschiisko's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolay Vatzev came free, but Svetlan Semenov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Zhecho Prokopov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gencho Patrashkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Anko Kotov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toptschiisko succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Softite had controlled the match.
