Kuncho Babadzhanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabundzhilar. A collision led to Sabundzhilar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aleko Dremsizov hit a great ball. Valko Pishmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branimir Tzutzekov having to interfere. Sabundzhilar's Iskren Gyumyushev got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Iskren Gyumyushev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuncho Babadzhanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CSKA Stokite getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Prodan Popgeorgiev hit a great ball. If Iskren Gyumyushev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sabundzhilar's Gerasim Staevski got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, CSKA Stokite's Prodan Popgeorgiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branimir Tzutzekov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Valko Pishmanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branimir Tzutzekov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krasen Kamberski during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CSKA Stokite's Krasen Kamberski got a free kick in the 36th minute. A hard shot by Dafin Hinov from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Kuncho Babadzhanov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to CSKA Stokite getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Yanaki Arsenov hit a great ball. Dafin Hinov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ginyo Patronev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes CSKA Stokite got a freekick which was hit by Yanaki Arsenov. Ginyo Patronev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kuncho Babadzhanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iskren Gyumyushev made a kick off. CSKA Stokite's Kuncho Babadzhanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ginyo Patronev in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes, Sabundzhilar's Dafin Hinov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kuncho Babadzhanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sabundzhilar reached it. Kuncho Babadzhanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iskren Gyumyushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuncho Babadzhanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iskren Gyumyushev in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Iskren Gyumyushev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabundzhilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Iskren Gyumyushev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuncho Babadzhanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to CSKA Stokite getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Yanaki Arsenov hit a great ball. Branimir Tzutzekov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valko Pishmanov in the 66th minute of play. Kuncho Babadzhanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iskren Gyumyushev, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Iskren Gyumyushev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Stokite's Kuncho Babadzhanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Prodan Popgeorgiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Stokite's supporters rose to their feet, but Prodan Popgeorgiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branimir Tzutzekov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valko Pishmanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branimir Tzutzekov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ginyo Patronev in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuncho Babadzhanov saved CSKA Stokite from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iskren Gyumyushev in the 87th minute of play forced CSKA Stokite's goalkeeper Kuncho Babadzhanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ginyo Patronev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kuncho Babadzhanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CSKA Stokite's Kuncho Babadzhanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ginyo Patronev in the 91st minute of play. Ginyo Patronev might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuncho Babadzhanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ginyo Patronev ran back to his position shaking his head. The Sabundzhilar fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Sabundzhilar's Iskren Gyumyushev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sabundzhilar fully deserved thier win.
