Forest Green Devils FC's Marian Dolev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Forest Green Devils FC from getting a goal against them. Forest Green Devils FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Orhun Kerem 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A collision led to GS-krumovgrad getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Svetlan Tropchev hit a great ball. Yanaki Partalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Dolev having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GS-krumovgrad's Yanaki Partalin got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Forest Green Devils FC's goalkeeper Marian Dolev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orhun Kerem. Yanaki Partalin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Dolev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yanaki Partalin ran back to his position shaking his head. Orhun Kerem struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Marian Dolev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GS-krumovgrad. Ennio Verdone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergin Trenin in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Orhun Kerem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Dolev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Marian Dolev made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Yanaki Partalin sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yanaki Partalin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trayko Batev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Forest Green Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yanaki Partalin came free, but Marian Dolev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ennio Verdone was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gergin Trenin got free with Ennio Verdone in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marian Dolev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanaki Partalin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Forest Green Devils FC's Marian Dolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhun Kerem in the 90th minute of play. Yanaki Partalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Dolev having to interfere. There was no doubt that GS-krumovgrad were the better team. GS-krumovgrad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
