When Matey Shushev came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Garljano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matey Shushev couldn't finish the play. Simeon Kertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Gergin Halvadzhiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Deyan Glavov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSKA Tschetakowzi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matey Shushev got free with Deyan Burdin in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simeon Kertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Deyan Burdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matey Shiderov in the 28th minute of play forced Garljano's goalkeeper Dencho Lesidrenski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, CSKA Tschetakowzi's goalkeeper Deyan Burdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matey Shushev. Simeon Kertin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Deyan Burdin having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Garljano's Gergin Halvadzhiyski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deyan Burdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Garljano's Peyo Arshinkov got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matey Shushev in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deyan Burdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Simeon Kertin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garljano's supporters rose to their feet, but Simeon Kertin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deyan Burdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matey Shushev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deyan Burdin having to interfere. In the 75th minute Matey Shiderov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dencho Lesidrenski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 80th minute of the match Vitomir Ilyov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vitomir Ilyov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. CSKA Tschetakowzi's Yanek Rahov got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dencho Lesidrenski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deyan Glavov in the 84th minute. Serafim Shabanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brunko Androvski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deyan Burdin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Tschetakowzi's zone, Gergin Halvadzhiyski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deyan Burdin came out of the goal and Gergin Halvadzhiyski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Neno Tomalevski made a precise shot to the right of Dencho Lesidrenski. Garljano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gergin Halvadzhiyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Deyan Burdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Shabanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Garljano lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
