Tzvetelin Dogramadzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zlatan Ihchiev having to interfere. Dobromir Evrov ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Фк ЦсКа РуСе booed when Kanits was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krastyo Chakúrski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Dobri Mirinchev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanits's supporters rose to their feet, but Dobri Mirinchev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vanko Milkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
