Emil Kostadinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Ovcharov having to interfere. Yuri Ovcharov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Iskidzhiyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the MD Team defense, Emil Kostadinov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri Ovcharov. The MD Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri Ovcharov should have stopped the shot. MD Team's Yuri Ovcharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Dishov in the 11th minute of play. Emil Kostadinov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Ovcharov having to make a save. Yuri Ovcharov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Boyko Voykov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Evtim Katerski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Subin Kotzov managed to get in a good position for a shot. MD Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Subin Kotzov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evtim Katerski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to MD Team getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Boyko Voykov hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MD Team's Ganyo Bendurski got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, MD Team's goalkeeper Yuri Ovcharov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuriy Kapranov. Emil Kostadinov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Yuri Ovcharov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute of the match, Antonio Dudevski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yuri Ovcharov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yuri Ovcharov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Dudevski's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Antonio Dudevski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 45th minute Antonio Dudevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Ovcharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Kostadinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC Hemus Troyan's Emil Kostadinov managed to work through MD Team's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Emil Kostadinov dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Dudevski in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Ovcharov saved MD Team from getting behind. Zheko Dramov kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Emil Kostadinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC Hemus Troyan fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when FC Hemus Troyan's Antonio Dudevski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes into the match, MD Team's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kostadinov came free, but Yuri Ovcharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Ovcharov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Dudevski went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Vladko Vukovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Antonio Dudevski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Ovcharov. MD Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Dudevski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 75th minute Severin Dishov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Ovcharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emil Kostadinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Ovcharov was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. MD Team's Yuri Ovcharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Iskidzhiyski in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, MD Team's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Dudevski came free, but Yuri Ovcharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
