Spectators: 7210 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 110) FC Stozher's Slavcho Svilarski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Evlogi Dúrzhanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mavrudi Topuzliev might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Avgustin Durov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mavrudi Topuzliev ran back to his position shaking his head. Slavcho Svilarski struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Avgustin Durov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stozher. In the 11th minute, Mavrudi Topuzliev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stozher fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Slavcho Svilarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Avgustin Durov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avgustin Durov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mavrudi Topuzliev in the 21st minute of play. Pantaley Dragov hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Slavcho Svilarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stozher's supporters rose to their feet, but Slavcho Svilarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avgustin Durov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avgustin Durov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mavrudi Topuzliev's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Avgustin Durov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavcho Svilarski in the 31st minute of the match. Академик София's Avgustin Durov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mavrudi Topuzliev in the 34th minute of play. If Lyubcho Muleshkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Slavcho Svilarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Avgustin Durov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mavrudi Topuzliev scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avgustin Durov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Varban Kyosev made a kick off. With his leg Avgustin Durov managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when FC Stozher's Mavrudi Topuzliev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute Lyubcho Muleshkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lulcho Velkovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Stozher booed when Академик София was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bocho Taushanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doncho Klashnov, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Slavcho Svilarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radul Santov's late challenge caught a FC Stozher's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radul Santov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, one of Академик София:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Академик София. Doncho Klashnov shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mavrudi Topuzliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Avgustin Durov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mavrudi Topuzliev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Академик София getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Pantaley Dragov hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Slavcho Svilarski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Avgustin Durov, 0-3. Lyubcho Muleshkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Академик София's Varban Kyosev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lulcho Velkovski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. FC Stozher played a much better game than Академик София and deserved their victory. The Академик София players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
