Stoyo Yanev charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stoyo Yanev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CSKA Krivonos's Stoyo Yanev got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Detelin Tyutyundzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Velizar Stoynovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Krivonos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalotintsi the free kick. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CSKA Krivonos. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Kalotintsi's Denimir Shindarski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yonko Runtov. When Kliment Tinchev came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kalotintsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kliment Tinchev couldn't finish the play. Detelin Tyutyundzhiev struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Yonko Runtov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalotintsi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kliment Tinchev in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yonko Runtov saved CSKA Krivonos from getting behind. Kliment Tinchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, CSKA Krivonos's goalkeeper Yonko Runtov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Detelin Tyutyundzhiev. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kliment Tinchev got free with Yonko Runtov in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yonko Runtov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detelin Tyutyundzhiev in the 36th minute of play. Detelin Tyutyundzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CSKA Krivonos's Yonko Runtov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Detelin Tyutyundzhiev in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Detelin Tyutyundzhiev made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Detelin Tyutyundzhiev in the 57th minute of play forced CSKA Krivonos's goalkeeper Yonko Runtov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Momchil Harmandzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CSKA Krivonos's Yonko Runtov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kliment Tinchev in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Detelin Tyutyundzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalotintsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Detelin Tyutyundzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalotintsi's Detelin Tyutyundzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kliment Tinchev hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Kliment Tinchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yonko Runtov having to interfere. Gyuro Bukarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Panayot Vaklinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, CSKA Krivonos's goal looked a bit too open when Kliment Tinchev came free, but Yonko Runtov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kliment Tinchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Detelin Tyutyundzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
