When Velizar Yonkov fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Keprakioj's protests and gave Velizar Yonkov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Studenitsa booed when FC Keprakioj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velizar Yonkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nedelcho Draganinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svetoslav Slavchev in the 20th minute of play forced Studenitsa's goalkeeper Benislav Kinev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, FC Keprakioj's goal looked a bit too open when Omurtag Matzev came free, but Volodya Beykov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Studenitsa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svetoslav Slavchev to strike the kick off in the second half. Omurtag Matzev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Volodya Beykov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anzhelo Misov hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nedelcho Draganinski struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Volodya Beykov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Studenitsa. Svetoslav Slavchev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benislav Kinev having to make a save. After having played for 72 minutes, Stancho Novkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Keprakioj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stancho Novkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Volodya Beykov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedelcho Draganinski in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Studenitsa's Omurtag Matzev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volodya Beykov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Svetoslav Slavchev made a precise shot to the right of Benislav Kinev. Studenitsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
