The referee ignored Tottenham Hotspur FC's protests and gave Botyo Radivoev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Tottenham Hotspur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Botyo Radivoev to maneuver through the defense. Emiliyan Chervenakov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamen Shipochki's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Belcho Penchovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huben Tzurinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toshko Shekerdzhiyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimo Dúbov struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Huben Tzurinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Winiza. The supporters of Tottenham Hotspur FC booed when CSKA Winiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radko Gerdzhikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Kamen Shipochki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliyan Chervenakov skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute of the match, Toshko Shekerdzhiyski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Huben Tzurinski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th match minute, Tottenham Hotspur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Stefchov to maneuver through the defense. Dimo Dúbov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 47th playminute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Huben Tzurinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimo Dúbov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Adalbert Dzhotev managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Winiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalbert Dzhotev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huben Tzurinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huben Tzurinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimo Dúbov in the 78th minute of play. In the 91st minute Kamen Shipochki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliyan Chervenakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes, Tottenham Hotspur FC's Moise Oprea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emiliyan Chervenakov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham Hotspur FC reached it. In the 93rd minute, Adalbert Dzhotev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamen Shipochki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Emiliyan Chervenakov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
