Musatchilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanyo Fetvadzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Pavel Gadzhov sped through Beroe-1979's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogomil Ilov. If Yuli Bakalchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Stanyo Fetvadzhiev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bogomil Ilov, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladko Bliznakov during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Musatchilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanyo Fetvadzhiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogomil Ilov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogomil Ilov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Gadzhov in the 94th minute of play. Beroe-1979's Bogomil Ilov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Beroe-1979 from getting a goal against them.
