In the 12th minute, Zlatan Laptev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Dancho Búrnev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaloyan Stefchov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSKA SF's Stoimen Sharlandzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Petkov in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, CSKA SF's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Petkov came free, but Stoimen Sharlandzhiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSKA SF's Stoimen Sharlandzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Petkov in the 27th minute of play. After 37 played minutes CSKA SF got a freekick which was hit by Bozhin Tzalev. Kaloyan Stefchov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragolyub Vúrbenov in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA SF's zone, Wladyslaw Czubski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stoimen Sharlandzhiev came out of the goal and Wladyslaw Czubski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

ПФК Левски 1914's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
