Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Beslimov started the match with the kick off. Gencho Tzokev kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Lyakhovo's Radostin Koprivlenski got control of the ball when Dobromir Alandzhiyski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dobromir Alandzhiyski might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radostin Koprivlenski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dobromir Alandzhiyski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute of the match, Metodi Temelakiev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radostin Koprivlenski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dobromir Alandzhiyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Radostin Koprivlenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Dunav Ruse's Sevdalin Srúndev was substituted for Gencho Tzokev. In the 13th match minute, FC Lyakhovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzonyo Shirkov to maneuver through the defense. Radostin Koprivlenski was a little too slow when Galin Bratovanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Raycho Kalchishkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Beslimov in the 17th minute of play. Radostin Koprivlenski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Alandzhiyski in the 19th minute. Vasil Kalpakchiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radostin Koprivlenski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sevdalin Srúndev in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radostin Koprivlenski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Dobromir Alandzhiyski could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Radostin Koprivlenski however easily saved by the left post. Radostin Koprivlenski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metodi Temelakiev in the 28th minute of play. Svetlozar Kukushev kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Spas Ferkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dunav Ruse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spas Ferkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sevdalin Srúndev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dobromir Alandzhiyski scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radostin Koprivlenski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Beslimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Raycho Kalchishkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dobromir Alandzhiyski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Radostin Koprivlenski made a huge save. Radostin Koprivlenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metodi Temelakiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Metodi Temelakiev made the kick off in the second half. FC Lyakhovo's Adam Petrichev shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raycho Kalchishkov but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svetlozar Kukushev in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Dunav Ruse's goalkeeper Raycho Kalchishkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Dunav Ruse's Metodi Temelakiev got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, FC Lyakhovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetlozar Kukushev to maneuver through the defense. If Metodi Temelakiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Ivan Gudev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasil Kalpakchiev's late challenge caught a FC Lyakhovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasil Kalpakchiev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Vasil Kalpakchiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galin Bratovanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Radostin Koprivlenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Dobromir Alandzhiyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radostin Koprivlenski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Metodi Temelakiev came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC Dunav Ruse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metodi Temelakiev couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Lyakhovo defense, Metodi Temelakiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radostin Koprivlenski. The FC Lyakhovo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radostin Koprivlenski should have stopped the shot. Radostin Koprivlenski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metodi Temelakiev in the 76th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, FC Dunav Ruse's Galin Bratovanov made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radostin Koprivlenski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute Galin Bratovanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radostin Koprivlenski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, FC Dunav Ruse's Metodi Temelakiev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radostin Koprivlenski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Metodi Temelakiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radostin Koprivlenski having to interfere. FC Dunav Ruse walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
