Metodi Temelakiev scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pencho Viyachki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute Metodi Temelakiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pencho Viyachki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vencho Prevalski kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Stefan Lyubenov struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Raycho Kalchishkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuvandzhilar. The supporters of Kuvandzhilar booed when FC Dunav Ruse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencho Tzokev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Kuvandzhilar's Vencho Prevalski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raycho Kalchishkov. Raycho Kalchishkov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Dobromir Alandzhiyski took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pencho Viyachki. Pencho Viyachki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dobromir Alandzhiyski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pencho Viyachki having to interfere. Stefan Lyubenov struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Raycho Kalchishkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuvandzhilar. Pencho Viyachki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dobromir Alandzhiyski went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metodi Temelakiev in the 40th minute of play forced Kuvandzhilar's goalkeeper Pencho Viyachki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pencho Viyachki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Alandzhiyski in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Lyubenov to make the kick off. Raycho Kalchishkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Siderov in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Vencho Prevalski notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Dunav Ruse's Raycho Kalchishkov. Raycho Kalchishkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raycho Kalchishkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Siderov in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Kuvandzhilar's goalkeeper Pencho Viyachki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dobromir Alandzhiyski. Vasil Kalpakchiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pencho Viyachki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencho Tzokev in the 84th minute of play forced Kuvandzhilar's goalkeeper Pencho Viyachki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vencho Prevalski kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Dobromir Alandzhiyski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pencho Viyachki. The goal made the score 2-7. The supporters of FC Dunav Ruse booed when Kuvandzhilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lachezar Kusitasev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spas Ferkov took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pencho Viyachki. Pencho Viyachki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Dunav Ruse walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
