In the 6th minute Severin Tatarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Opdam was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Elenska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Opdam to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Totyo Tzolovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Silvério Maranhense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Totyo Tzolovski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostol Mesalski in the 35th minute of play forced Elenska's goalkeeper Bernardino Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yordan Danchov hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Totyo Tzolovski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Silvério Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Silvério Maranhense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Totyo Tzolovski. FC Hemus Troyan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Maranhense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexi Marianov to make the kick off. Totyo Tzolovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Apostol Mesalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bernardino Goiz made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, Elenska's Silvério Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Totyo Tzolovski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, FC Hemus Troyan's Tzonyo Dimovski got a free kick in the 68th minute. Totyo Tzolovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Yordan Danchov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes, Yordan Danchov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elenska and the FC Hemus Troyan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Elenska getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Yordan Danchov hit a great ball. Severin Tatarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bernardino Goiz made a huge save. The Elenska players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
