Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stoimen Haralambiev got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Magardzhitsa's Velyo Gradishki got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th match minute, Magardzhitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzanyo Belyakov to maneuver through the defense. Yoncho Babadzhanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikifor Panagonov having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Dobrin Perduhov put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Magardzhitsa's Velizar Bosolov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nikifor Panagonov. Yanko Tzaribrodski's late challenge caught a Magardzhitsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yanko Tzaribrodski helped the player get up and apologised. Yanko Tzaribrodski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Traycho Kilyovski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikifor Panagonov. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Nikifor Panagonov made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Yoncho Babadzhanov sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Magardzhitsa's Traycho Kilyovski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikifor Panagonov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ's Viden Babanski got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Magardzhitsa booed when ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iskren Matikanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahari Dungarov to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Viden Babanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Velizar Bosolov came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Magardzhitsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velizar Bosolov couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ defense, Yoncho Babadzhanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikifor Panagonov. The ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikifor Panagonov should have stopped the shot. Yanko Tzaribrodski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Yoncho Babadzhanov struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nikifor Panagonov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magardzhitsa. After 58 played minutes Magardzhitsa got a freekick which was hit by Sava Musakov. In the 58th minute, one of Magardzhitsa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Magardzhitsa. Iskren Matikanov shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ's Nikifor Panagonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoncho Babadzhanov in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ's Viden Babanski got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Yoncho Babadzhanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikifor Panagonov. ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoncho Babadzhanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ's goal looked a bit too open when Yoncho Babadzhanov came free, but Nikifor Panagonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Stoimen Haralambiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Nikifor Panagonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoncho Babadzhanov in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoncho Babadzhanov in the 81st minute of play forced ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ's goalkeeper Nikifor Panagonov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stoimen Haralambiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Karidov having to interfere. Velyo Gradishki kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Magardzhitsa's Traycho Kilyovski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikifor Panagonov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 92 played minutes ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ got a freekick which was hit by Iskren Matikanov. When Yoncho Babadzhanov came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Magardzhitsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yoncho Babadzhanov couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Magardzhitsa fans cheered their team off the field, for while ПФК БОТЕВ ПЛОВДИВ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
