An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoncho Babadzhanov in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Hemus Troyan's goalkeeper Totyo Tzolovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Totyo Tzolovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoncho Babadzhanov in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes FC Hemus Troyan got a freekick which was hit by Apostol Mesalski. In the 28th minute, Traycho Kilyovski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Totyo Tzolovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Alexi Marianov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Magardzhitsa booed when FC Hemus Troyan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyuben Kanazirski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexi Marianov to make the kick off. Traycho Kilyovski struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Totyo Tzolovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magardzhitsa. One of FC Hemus Troyan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Magardzhitsa:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severin Tatarski in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Karidov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Magardzhitsa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
